Films and Tapes - Keratherm

Flexible films consisting of a silicone elastomer filled with various thermally conductive ceramic materials. All film types are electrrically insulating. For improved handling, the films are also available with fiberglass reinforcement. The standard films adapt to the component surface. Small irregularities can be evened out by using only minimal contact pressures. The good thermal properties of these films quarantee optimum heat transport to the heat sink and at the same time good electrical insulation properties. All Keratherm standard films are UL tested.

    especially suitable for use in power components of communications technology where high thermal conductivity and electrical isolation are needed. They offer an inexpensive alternative to the foils manufactured with boron-nitride filling.

    especially suitable for use in automotive electronics or in industries requiring high insulation such as mechanical engineering, household appliances and aviation.

    Keratherm Pink 86/50

    especially suitable for power modules in which large quantities of heat need to be conducted. The foils are ideally suited for uses in which high reliability must be guaranteed and has been implemented a milliontimes over in industries such as radio, television, computer and medical.

    Keratherm Red 86/82, 86/83

    particularly suitable for applications in the high-power area. It possesses excellent thermal and electrical properties. Because of its good performance it can be reliably used in densely packed electronic applications.

    Keratherm Brown 70/50

    designed for low cost applications. The combination of good thermal conductivity and high electrical isolation in this series makes the foils a cost effective and good performing solution for various standard applications.
